BIG is the word to describe these guys. Everything is big. Cars, vans, glass of cokes, turkey legs, motorways, people, etc. It is also a very stimulant country. Television, weather, news, McCain, Obama, soap operas..uf!
We got tired in Disney. Specially in Magic Kingdom... t o o m u c h ! ! we feel over stimulated and we wanted to have a break. Children wanted to come back to the flat because they could not cope with everything, Simply.
On the other hand Americans are FAB people; mind you, I am not talking about Puerto Ricans, Cubans or Africans. That is another story. For example, at Kennedy Space Center you can see how proud they are about their commitments in making real their dreams. Anne and I were touched by their spirit of moving forward. They are proud about their achievements.

Glad you "discovered" America. My wife and I discovered the UK a couple of years ago and we fell in love with it. Must say that things are BIG and BUSY in London, Glasgow, Newcastle and Edinburgh too. You must come and visit places like Iowa and Arkansas. They are closer to the scale of UK.
